Lt. Samuel GOFF

Born July 6, 1694, in Berkshire Co. Massachusetts Bay, British America, fifth son of Anthony Goffe and Sarah Polley, daughter of George Polley and Elizabeth Winn. He died at Rehoboth, Bristol, Massachusetts Bay, British America 28 November 1771 and his burial is in Burial Place Hill, Rehoboth. He married Rachel Toogood 25 December 1718 in Swansea, British America, now known as, Bristol Co., MA. She died 24 October 1780, Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA. Also buried in Burial Place Hill.

They had 5 children:

  3. Constant, born 8 March 1725, married Mary Wheeler (she born 1 Feb. 1724 and died 20 August 1803 at Rehoboth) 21 January 1747. He died 29 January 1790, Rehoboth, MA burial at Lovell Goff Yard Rehoboth Bristol County Massachusetts, USA. She died 20 August 1803, Rehoboth
  4. Freelove, born 11 April 1728, Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA, Died 3 October1768 Rehoboth, she married John Wheeler, 3 March 1747, Rehoboth
  5. David, born 8 August 1756.
  6. Samuel, Jr., born 20 July 1731 Rehoboth, married Meriam Bowen 2 December 1755, Rehoboth
